My only show this month is a Hashigo gig on Friday the 25th.
Hashigo will play a bit longer of a set than usual, and the other two artists playing are both great favorites of mine, so this is a show I especially recommend.
おはようございます。４月の告知です。
今月の唯一のライブは２５日(金)に、バンドの梯子ノ上デの出演です。
当日は梯子ノ上デの持ち時間はいつもより少し長めですし、共演者はお二方とも僕の大好きなアーティストさんなので、オススメのライブです。
Chie Kodaira will open the show. If you haven’t seen her yet, you owe it to yourself to check her out. She’s an original and eccentric artist who evolves constantly and manages to create an atmosphere I can’t describe, other than to say that every time I see her play, I get the feeling I’m watching something I could only see there, in that place, at that time. 最初に出演するのは小平智恵さんです。彼女の演奏をまだ観ていない方は、ご覧になるのも身の為ですよ。小平さんは創造性に富んだ、じゃっかん奇異なアーティストで、常に進化しており、言葉に表せない雰囲気を醸し出すのです。僕は彼女の演奏を観る度に、今観ているのはここでしか、今にしか観られないものなんだとつくづく感じます。彼女のサイト：https://myspace.com/zekkei
After her, satomimagae will play. Her first, self-produced album “awa” was perhaps the most brilliant, focused artistic effort I’ve yet heard from a “local” Japanese artist (and I’m sure she won’t remain “local” for long). Live she mixes subtle acoustic guitar, ghostly vocals, and prerecorded bits and bobs of noise to generally melancholic effect. It’s just my thing; you’ll like it too. その次に出演するのはsatomimagaeさんです。彼女が自主制作したファーストアルバム「awa」は多分、今まで僕が聴いたいわゆるローカルな音楽家が出した作品の中で一番芸術性の優れた、世界観のまとまったアルバムです。（そんな才能の持ち主は今のうちにもうローカルじゃなくなりそうですよね。）ライブのときは彼女は地味なアコースティックギターと影のようなボーカルと打ち込みのノイズのかけらを交えて演奏し、全体的な雰囲気は「暗い」です。僕の好きな「暗い」ですね。彼女のサイト：http://satomimagae.under.jp/
