A story of mine appears in issue no. 39 of Gone Lawn, which went live about a week ago. Why did I wait a week to tell you? To build suspense, of course.

Why am I fizzing? Well, I've recently become a fan of author K-Ming Chang, and when this issue came out, I learned that my story had been published alongside one of hers. Knowing this made me fizzy. Read her story too (or, instead).
My story, in its earliest incarnation, was about half its current length. I'm always loath to lengthen a story, but a trusted reader (also an author) prodded me do more with it. Now I am glad I did.
