Here's a thing. I've got a very short story in issue no. 8 of Short Circuit, a publication which, in addition to being available online, can be had through something called a story dispenser.
An organization called Short Édition sets up these machines in public places, Sort of a fiction vending machine. Stories come out printed on strips of paper.
Read about story dispensers here in the New York Times.
I'm glad to imagine that a reader, who might never otherwise have encountered my little story, could come across it at a story dispenser. Who would have thought?
