Impossible Task

I've got a story in the forthcoming issue no. 8 of Impossible Task. You won't be able to read it for free until the 28th, but you can take a look at the issue earlier and, in doing so, support a good cause.

The editors of Impossible Task turn the release of each issue into a fundraising drive. For this issue, they are encouraging you to donate money to Life is Work, a Chicago safety and wellness resource center for trans and nonbinary people of color. One hundred percent of the money raised will be donated in memory of community activist Elise Malary.

If you can afford to, go here to donate.

When you donate, you'll receive a link to issue no. 8. Then you can go around slipping casual hints into every conversation about how good the issue is. And when people look puzzled, you can be all, "Oh, I thought you knew…"

Here's a blurb from my own story, "It Is One Hundred Years since Our Children Left":

As the publisher says on their website, "The arts are at their very best when they facilitate support for those in need." I cannot disagree.
